Chris Watson is a Canadian artist. He currently resides on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Nations- known as Vancouver.

He works primarily in watercolour. Often working within the confine of a series of work. He explores a theme, iterates upon it, and moves forward. Most recently he has been exploring different aspects of dark nights, city lights, and how memory and emotion inform your experience of these places.

His work is influenced by the observation of his surroundings, and the translation that happens when they are pushed onto the page. The images are playful yet articulated, often featuring recurring patterns and motifs.
